We had an outdoor hiking event being organized by Elaine Wong '97. The hike is an all day trip from Zhuangdaokou to the Walled Village and will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 17. This will be a great opportunity for Alumni, family and friends to get some fresh air and exercise while the weather is still nice! If you are interested in this event, please send a quick note to me or Elaine to inform us of your interest and how many people you might bring. A sample itinerary is attached in this email and although we are still waiting for a quote from one other company, it looks like it will be roughly 300 to 350 yuan per person with all expenses (food, transportation, guides, etc...) included. Also, if any alums think that this price is a little bit too expensive PLEASE let me know as well so we can try to find something cheaper and/or prepare better for future events.
